    Dear Friends, Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. As we look back over the past few months, we are reminded again of God’s goodness and faithfulness. The Lord continues to open doors for the gospel in Peru, and we are grateful to be laborers in His harvest. Training Leaders for the Future One of our greatest privileges this summer was teaching for the first time at the seminary in Trujillo. It is encouraging to invest in pastors and ministry leaders who will serve churches throughout Peru for years to come.   • The Mission of God

    If mission flows from the character and nature of God, it cannot be neglected by the church. Since the mission is of God, God will equip people for the task. The “Mission of God” enables Christian missionaries to understand themselves under God’s sovereignty. (Phil 2:3, Jn 7:18) The “Mission of God” implies sacrifice. This perspective enables the Christian communicator to recognize that because the mission is God’s, it will succeed. pg.19

    Imagine never having seen a Bible in your own language. How would that affect your faith? This was the reality for the Amahuaca people. Our dear friend and partner, Wilber Huillca, labored among them for nearly five years so they could finally receive God’s Word in their mother tongue. Recently, we had the privilege of receiving two large boxes of these newly printed Bibles along with a visit from Wilber. Together, we traveled by river to a native village and experienced the joy of presenting the Scriptures to them for the very first time.
